I intuited that it was time. How could I have anticipanted the flurry of comments and excitement that has poured forth. Your support clearly shows that this blog has struck a chord, not just in corporate America, but across the BEST OF PEOPLE. I am truly humbled that my passion for excellence in the arena of office supplies might serve as a balm for the growing angst that prevades not only North America, but much of the world.
We live in a rapidly changing world, and for many, the changes are terrifying. Who knew that gas prices would, in just a years time, increase to be higher than what most experts would consider the BEST mechanical pencil (i.e., the pentel). With increasing corn prices, quality paper has shifted from being a commodity to being a sign of luxurious wealth.
So, some have asked, "Why now"? I think, however, that this question is the misguided question of a person seeking to ignore or deny the current state of our world. I think the best way to answer this question is to let my daily growing audience reply:
Why do you need this blog?
With the outpouring of support that occurs in the new few hours and days, you will see that I will not need to formulate an answer for this question.

I will gladly admit to being one of the many "fans" of this much needed blog. Brothers, I must announce to the world that in all the years of knowing you I have not been so proud or impressed with you as I am at this point in time. Your complete dedication to "presenting the best office supplies to the best of all people" is surely a huge commitment and is not to be taken lightly. I know that the world will be eternally grateful for all the hours that you put into this. I will say it on behalf of us all: Thank You.
