Mission

Greetings! This is no ordinary blog in which a lonely person spends hours a day practicing stream of conscious thought for the world to see. We've been talking about this blog for some time. Over the weeks and months prior, excited friends have asked, "Donnie, when can we expect the office supplies blog?" I will answer the question, "Why now?," in the next post.

Today, however, I want to clearly state the purpose of this blog. The purpose of this blog is not to: (a)share meaningless thoughts; (b)philosophize about life; (c)preach or teach; (d) emote or evoke emotions. The purpose of "PREMIUM OFFICE" is to spread my experitise as an office supplies specialist to the masses. My hope is that you will benefit from my specialized knowledge. Also, I can only hope that you do not repeat my mistakes.

OUR MISSION
"Presenting the BEST in office supplies for the BEST of all people, which is ALL of them."

You have no idea how intensely the anticipation of this event has been consuming me; your website shall surely prove to be a cool, refreshing oasis in the desert of the office wasteland. I further commend your disdain for traditional blogging etiquette in exchange for slogans, catch phrases, and loosely-related banter on office supplies.

"All of them" are NOT "the BEST of all people"!! Your premise is flawed from the start. People will ultimately disappoint. That has been my experience.

Although the BEST of office supplies has always been a PASSION of mine, and I have hope that my intimate involvement in your blog from the perspective of my own vast experience with office supplies will improve the much needed candid discussion on the subject, I just don't have much hope that it will meet my needs. I am afraid that I will be only disappointed again..... but for now, I pledge my support. (BUT, I must warn you, I am known for my candor, and sometimes I can be a little brash.)

AND, I must admit, I already feel some relief from what I have been willing to share so far. SO, maybe it's not all bad. We will see. Thanks for your willingness to be "out there."

The internet-world has needed a "voice in the wilderness" to shed light on such a deceptive and cut-throat industry. I have often wondered if it is possible to live a life of integrity, and succeed in this line of work. I hope that your blog will discuss this complex issue. I cannot contain my anticipation!
